Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi Episode #1
Another BL anime has made its way to the Fujoshi/Fudanshi community!
*insert fan boy squeals here* Finally! Here’s another BL anime by Studio DEEN!
This anime is based From one of the famous Mangas of “Nakamura Shungiku” and is somehow related to one of her previous work (Junjou Romantica). Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi, to some people they preferred to it as the “Third Season” of the hit Yaoi Anime/Manga “Junjou Romantica” – well not really, since it has its own characters and title, though, there’s a cross over between the stories (spoilers below)
To start things off, a few days ago, Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi’s OAD was released. The episode had neither Opening nor Closing themes, and only focused on Onodera and Takano’s (Saga-sempai). (you can find this part on any online manga provider, I think it’s volume 2 chapter 4.5) Mostly, their relationship, how they met, end up in bed. Their breaking up wasn’t added though it’ll be in the latter part of the story.
-Blogger’s Review:
As expected of Nakamura Shungiku, the plot, setting, characters are “Nicely” done, though, I find it kind of repetitive. Based from her Previous manga’s “Junjou Mistake” and “Junjou Romantica” who used “Marukawa Publishing” as one of the settings, the anime ended up not having an original environment.
Cameo Appearances of Usami Akihiko in the anime: This made everyone believe that “Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi” is “Junjou Romantica Season 3″. Though I have no problems calling it like that since Misaki did made some appearance in the Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi Manga. Back to Akihiko, It is shown that “Onodera Ritsu” (one of the main characters of the story) was Akihiko’s Editor (as reference to Junjou Romantica, aside from being a BL novel Author, Usami-san also wrote some “Award Winning” mangas in the manga/anime). One of my hunches is that, Onodera was criticized for getting too much fame because one of Usami-san’s famous novel is going to be adapted as a movie (if you don’t know what I mean then watch the season 1 of Junjou Romantica to see this out).
Characters are a bit … nah!: Is it just me or do I just think that Takano looked like a combination of Usami-san and Nowaki and Onodera looked like a “Matured version” of both Misaki and Hiroki. As for Kisa and Yukina, I am fine with them since I find them a bit “Original” compared to the main pair of the series. As for the “third pair” I still have no say to them, since I haven’t seen them appeared in the manga.
Going back to the anime: I was not that excited to see the anime since I got more ‘hyped’ with the manga. Though I might say, seeing Onodera and Takano kiss is just too… AWESOME!
As for the character’s voices: I find Onodera’s High school voice a bit off. It was rather annoying than cute lol! He sounded like a drowned duck. Anyway, I am glad that after Ten years, he had his voice a bit ‘manned’ up though he maintained his Uke-looking status. As for Takano’s voice, It wa s indeed manly and romantic and kyaaaa!

Yukina Kou
Talk about another hottie, I think Yukina has the cutest looks of them all. I mean isn’t he just like Nowaki? (not in appearance, but his appeal is more like Nowaki’s).
Anyway, I am more excited to see Yukina and Kisa smoochin’ in their rooms <3

Yukina X Kisa
Just to make things more “kyaaaaaa-able” I added this screen shot for more excitement <3 They’re just too adorable <3 Can’t wait to see both in the next coming episodes. And not to forget, Kisa’s voice ids pretty sexy <3
As for the Opening and Ending songs, I was really expecting for “Pigstar” to do the songs but I guess they weren’t able to lol! so yeah here they are, though the titles aren’t included yet.
